Over the past several weeks, a highlight for two groups of 9 - 11 year old students as they went to school a half-world apart is the anticipation of their Crossing Borders – Safer Internet Day team project. Because of the time difference, as one group slept the other was busy at school modifying their shared project. Despite those challenges and more, the students were able to finish their tasks and the completed team project is posted below.

The students chose “power of image” as their topic, and they all agree they learned a lot. As you’ll see by their entry, they learned about teamwork, they learned cultural differences, and in the process they all learned more about staying safe on the Internet.

i-SAFE helped facilitate the collaboration between the two schools. We hope you enjoy the project the team produced together. And, please take a moment to watch a brief behind the scenes video that documents the students during their work on the project. It is the students’ own video diary.
