User Created PSA

Shock the world. Make a statement. i-SAFE is looking for Public Service Announcements (PSA) that will change the way people think about the ‘Net. In 30 seconds, tell students and parents what is going on in your cyber world. You choose the Internet safety topic and start filming.

Sample Topics:
  1. Internet Predators
  2. Illegal Downloading
  3. Cyber Bullying
  4. Viruses
  5. Cyber Dating
  6. Chat Rooms
  7. IM
  8. P2P Networking Sites

Signed personal release forms from everyone appearing on camera must accompany your video, or we will not accept it. You must also include a registration form.

Shooting and Editing:
Your story should dictate your style and pace. Your PSA can be dramatic or comedic. Keep in mind, if you get bored watching your PSA your audience will, too. You only have 30 seconds so you’ll need to grab them from the start. Remember to send us your final, edited segment with and without music. This allows us to trim your segment, if necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, shoot us an e-mail at sgodwin@isafe.org.
